Who are we
Donna
I am a transplanted Canadian who has lived in Kirton in Lindsey for almost 20 years and I love this town. I am a teacher who started retailing my crafts in 2022 and I enjoy every bit of it. I have been helping to plan Shop Local Pop Up Markets for the last 2 years. It has been my dream to open a gift and coffee shop and when the retail space came up for rent I knew it was the time to do it. I am thrilled to have these ladies on board.
Jolene
You may already know me as a fully fledged Kirton local, born, raised and living in Kirton for many years. I used to run the Shop Local Pop Up Market at the Town Hall which provided local crafters and small businesses with an opportunity to regularly sell their wares. I have always dreamt of opening a shop and now it is becoming a reality together with these lovely ladies.
Sue
I am new to Kirton in Lindsey and love the warm welcome that I have received. After 30+ years in retail (including helping big brands as a consultant) I am finally living my dream opening my own shop! I make sparkly jewellery and have a real passion for crafts. This shop brings together amazing creations from local makers, and I am so excited to share it with the great folks in Kirton in Lindsey.
Joanne
I’m also new to Kirton in Lindsey, originally from London. I’ve been working since the age of 16, I spent the last few years caring for my mum, who remains my greatest inspiration. I’ve had a passion for crafts and artwork from a young age, and I’m incredibly excited and grateful to be on this journey alongside such amazing women. I’m looking forward to serving up lovely drinks and delicious cakes to everyone.
Creative Cuppa began when Donna spotted a charming local space for rent and saw its potential as the perfect spot for a handmade gift shop with coffee and cake. She shared the idea with friends Sue and Jolene, who were both excited to come on board. Donna then approached her niece Joanne, who was just as enthusiastic and wanted to invest into the vision as well and joined the team.
Our Story

With the four of us in business together, we couldn’t have been more excited. We transformed a plain office space into the colourful, cosy place you see today. We carefully chose our colour palette and got to work—doing everything ourselves, with the generous help of family and friends along the way.
