Katie Slingsby
Silver Me

Hi, I’m Katie

I set up SilverMe jewellery nearly 5 years ago after taking a silversmithing course and absolutely loving it!

I use traditional silversmithing techniques such as piercing, filing, soldering and hand forging and I love using these techniques to make unique, one of a kind pieces of jewellery.

I’m obsessed with love hearts! You will see many different styles of hearts within my work as I create pendants, bangles, rings and earrings.

With a love for nature, my designs are often inspired by the world around us and include flowers, leaves, bees, and dragonflies.

Angela Akester
Lanni Design

I started sewing from a very young girl, my inspiration was my grandfather he was called benetito lanni, hence my business name LANNI DESIGN, honouring his name, but also my mother always sewed she made all our clothes so she was also my inspiration.

I started bag making 5 years ago and never looked back, I love it with a passion, so I decided to share that passion with you, so enjoy all of my makes that are made with love.

Valerie Hughes
Secret Garden Crafts

I’ve called Kirton in Lindsey home since 1991, but my roots are in Sussex where my parents nurtured my love for nature. Weekends were spent exploring the South Downs or beachcombing by the sea – experiences that still inspire my work today.

At home we care for a space fondly known as The Secret Garden. It’s here that I grow plants and create handmade crafts and cards inspired by the beauty of nature, with a hint of fantasy and a touch of magic.

I’m always experimenting with new materials and techniques. One of my favourite is Powertex – a weatherproof fabric hardner that helps bring texture and durability to my outdoor art.

I love working with natural and recycled materials, often incorporating found objects from countryside walks. Each piece is designed to bring a little bit of the outdoors in – or to bring your garden to life with lasting, nature – inspired charm.

Helen Baker
Bags 4 Paws

Where Creativity Meets Compassion

Hi I’m Helen and for me, bag making is about more than the finished product; it’s about making a tangible difference. That’s why I proudly support Jerry Green Dog Rescue through my work. Inspired by their dedication to giving dogs a second chance and helping them find loving homes, I’ve found a way to connect my passion for crafting with a purpose that truly matters.

A portion of each sale goes directly to Jerry Green Dog Rescue, so every bag not only becomes a new accessory for its owner, but also helps provide care, shelter, and hope for dogs in need. It’s a partnership that adds even deeper meaning to my work, transforming every stitch into an act of kindness.

Through creativity and compassion, I strive to craft bags that tell a story—of individuality, connection, and giving back. Whether you’re carrying a crossbody or a tote, know that your choice is helping support the wonderful mission at Jerry Green Dog Rescue, one bag and one rescued dog at a time.

Charles Mycroft
Chirpy Workshop

Legal professional by day, woodworker by night. I'm most at home in my tiny workshop, surrounded by the rich scent of wood shavings and the quiet rhythm of tools. This creative passion is a way to step away from meetings, screens and schedules into a world of slow thoughtful making.

Growing up locally I spent my childhood exploring Laughton Forest. Inspired by the quiet magic of the woods, my wife's love of cute robots and the warm nostalgia of handmade items, I love creating whimsical keepsakes that bring a smile, a touch of colour, some rugged elegance and a sense of wonder.

All items are crafted in small batches from natural and sustainably sourced materials. I love to work with dark walnut and copper and include a touch of colour wherever possible. The Chirpy collection includes a growing cast wherever possible. The Chirpy collection includes a growing cast of heartfelt characters, from curious robins and sleepy owls to quiet little robot companions.

Jo
The Little Wood n Crafts Cottage

My name is Jo and I live in Willoughton. I work in the office of a primary school in Gainsborough and in my spare time I love to craft.

I have always liked to create things and in the past have done all sorts of crafts, including cross stitch, knitting, pompoms, paper flowers and card making. For many years I produced wedding stationery.

In the last year I have been painting mdf blanks. I find it very relaxing, especially after a busy day at school. I love how just by adding paint can make the characters come to life, especially the Highland cows, a favourite with me!

The Little Wood n Crafts Cottage came to be when a couple of friends asked me to paint up some characters for Christmas last year. The name comes from the crafts I produce being from wood ...and other crafts.

Although I mainly concentrate on painting my mdf blanks, or making cards and pompom wreaths, I still like to do all sorts of other crafts from time to time

I also co-run a monthly craft group in our village hall.

Sue
Sparkle More

Let me introduce myself, I am Sue and have always been attracted to sparkle since I was a teenager and seek out accessories to wear with pride and make me smile.

I live in Kirton in Lindsey with my husband Mark and a fab wire-haired dachshund called Molly. I’ve been making jewellery for well over 20 years, and use a combination of silversmith and beading techniques to craft unique styles that I hope bring joy to everyone.

I’m constantly getting inspiration for new designs and enjoy turning these ideas into reality, rather than keeping them hidden and for myself I have decided to launch Sparkle More to share the sparkle wider, because I am generous like that.

I design jewellery pieces to bring More Sparkle into your day, because the world needs more sparkle

Bill and Maria Rhoades
Bill and Maria

Hi Bill and Maria here. This photo was taken last March on our 60th Wedding anniversary, so as you can imagine we have both been retired for appox 20 years. We have always had an interest in photography and have used cameras from the famous Box Brownie to the modern digital camera, although we have not progressed to the even newer mirror-less cameras.

Bill bought himself his first digital camera, a canon 300 when he retired. It was so new that it had to be ordered, and we had a few weeks wait. A completely new way of taking photos, with a little screen to view to immediately see the picture you had taken, Don’t like what you see, delete and retake. We have utter and complete admiration for the photographers pre digital, they really had to know every aspect of their camera, no second chance such as we have.

We used to go for walks, Bill with the camera and I would be forever saying ‘ohh let me borrow the camera there’s something I want to take. Bill and I more often than not see things differently to each other and it is strange how once you take up photography you start to notice things you have just walked past without a second glance. Needless to say another camera was purchased for me.

Photography has proved to be a wonderful hobby for us both. We enjoy walks around the various nature reserves where we saw our first kingfisher bitter and avocet. We became involved with photographing Rugby at Scunthorpe, a complete surprise to myself, I has never even watched a rugby match, but it’s a great sport and the players are just one big happy family. We have made many friends, all with photography as the common interest. We are not so agile now, and do not get out as much as we used to, but we still keep ourselves involved, and love taking local pictures and recording the changes we see around us. Its nice to move it on a step further and make a whole new group of friends here all of whom are very talented and have many different skills, A really talented group of new friends.

Dave Holt
Curlew Woodcraft

I’m David from Curlew Woodcrafts. I live in North Lincolnshire. I do creative woodworking but mainly making things round. I have been woodturning for over 8 years now.

Although I do use sustainably sourced exotic hardwoods, I source most of my wood from wind blown and damaged trees in North Lincolnshire.

I love making bowls, vases, lamps, pens and razors but my favourite are Christmas decorations due to my elf heritage on my mother’s side. On the hottest days of the year I can be found in my shed making Christmas decorations or after a windy day in the woods looking for fresh windfall.

Donna Barnard
Euni-Pop

Euni-Pop Creations is a business that has operated out of Kirton in Lindsey since Sept. 2022 creating a variety of decor and gifts for all.

In January 2022 I was diagnosed with Depression that meant that I needed to have some time away from my teaching job that I absolutely loved. During this time I found that I needed something to help focus my mind and fill my time with something other than worrying and wondering how I was going to come to grips with this new understanding of my mental health.

As a person who has always been creative, I decided that with my new found time I would try crafting. Well, it rapidly became evident that this would be my new love and the things I was creating soon began to take over my house.

By the end of summer term I decided that returning back to the classroom was not going to be a benefit to my ongoing health so I decided that I would begin to sell my makes and have been doing so ever since.

The name Euni-Pop Creations came to me as I looked around my studio and saw the two things that were always in there with me. My two little Jack Russell cross dogs Eunice and Poppy. That is how we became Euni-Pop Creations. Unfortunately we lost our beloved Eunice in March 2024 to Cancer.

Kath
Ks Art

I’m a self-taught artist, and I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. Life led me to Kirton in Lindsey, where I married a local (a proud Kirtonian!) and raised our two children.

I put art aside for a while—busy with family. That changed thanks to my husband’s Auntie, Tessa Allen, who encouraged me to join the local art group. We met weekly at the George Hotel, and from that point on, there was no stopping me. My passion was reignited.

I began with oil paints, then explored acrylics, watercolours, and pastels. Eventually, I started exhibiting and selling my work. In more recent years, I discovered a love for working with sheep’s wool, creating detailed needle-felted “paintings. I’m especially drawn to animals—the texture of wool is perfect for capturing fur, and I often find myself creating cats, foxes, and sheep.

I’ve also fallen in love with sea glass art. I’m fascinated by the textures and the creative challenge of using found pieces to shape a picture. Each fragment has its own story and arranging them into something new is endlessly rewarding. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.

Lisa Bea
Lisa Bea Designs

Hello, I'm Lisa! I've always loved arts, crafts and colour, and as a child my favourite presents were felt tip pens. I studied art at school but pursued a 35 year nursing career.

After retirement, I began needle felting on a whim inspired by seeing Kristy's handmade Christmas. Somehow and surprisingly, the process resonated with me as I did not think I was a patient person, but I love it and never get board.

I take inspiration from the natural world where there is always something different to attempt and challenging to make. It is a forgiving craft as there are no rights or wrongs, which makes it perfect for me to teach to beginners. What's not to love about mindfully sculpting and shaping wool into something you're proud of?

Over time I have bought so many lovely wool colours, bits and pieces to elevate my makes, repurposed found and forages items, taken over the dining room, gifted, sold and taken on commissions, and created my small business Lisa Bea Designs.

Alaya Price
Crochet by Alaya

Hi, I’m Alaya – the hands, heart, and hook behind Crochetbyalaya.

I first picked up a crochet hook when I was just 10 years old, completely fascinated by how a single strand of yarn could turn into something beautiful and useful. For a while, I focused on football, swapping yarn for boots and chasing goals on the pitch. When I eventually hung up my boots, I returned to crochet. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion again – one that I now pour into every piece I create.

I wanted to keep a young spin on the art.

At Crochetbyalaya, you’ll find handmade gifts that are made to last, made to be loved, and made with care. Each item is a little piece of my journey – a mix of creativity, patience, and joy, all looped together.

Whether you’re here for a thoughtful gift or a cozy treat for yourself, I’m so happy you’re part of this story.
